Between work, kids, after school activities or whatever you have on your plate, meal planning can seem daunting. One of the strategies we use is to think about each night of the week as a “theme”. This helps point us in the right direction each night of the week. For example, here is one of my more common weekly meal schedules, and some of our most common meals for those nights.
- Saturday: Grilling night
- Sunday: Brunch
- Monday: Casserole
- Tuesday: Taco Tuesday
- Wednesday: Chicken Night
- Thursday: Soup it is!
- Friday: Fish
By thinking about each night of the week a theme, it narrows down the meal options making it more obtainable. You try it!
