Rice can be the perfect side dish to any main course, and sometimes you want to jazz up your basic recipe. This recipe does just that. It combines easy pantry staples such as instant dry rice, beef broth, French onion soup and butter to make a flavorful side dish.
What is even better? All you do is mix together all the ingredients, and pop in the oven to bake. If you can manage to melt butter, then you can handle this recipe.
Here’s a little hint: melt butter or margarine in a saucepan over medium high heat on the stove top. It’s the fastest and cleanest way to do it. Melting in the microwave always ends up in a big mess on the top of the microwave.
