Weekly Meal Plan: What to Expect

We’ve got a great line-up of recipes this week at These Old Cookbooks.  These recipes are budget friendly, family-pleasing options that Grandma would be proud of.

This week we are using the weekend to set us up for success during the week. Making a turkey breast for dinner one day, and then using the leftovers in soup later on in the week is an easy way to prep ahead.  We are also buying an extra large bag of broccoli that we plan to use in Mom’s Wild Rice and Turkey Soup and in our Cheesy Broccoli Rice Casserole.

See the grocery list below (we didn’t include the ingredients from recipes NOT on our site). You most likely won’t need everything on that list. We are betting that you have many of these ingredients already in your refrigerator or pantry!
