Ingredients
Recently, my friend and I were discussing the quirks and qualms of homemade fudge recipes. She had made a chocolate fudge and it wouldn’t come out of the pan. Fudge recipes can be very tricky if they aren’t cooked to the correct temperature or they are over or under stirred.
There’s many types of fudge recipes. Fudge recipes with marshmallow cream (like Chocolate Fantasy Fudge and Peanut Butter White Fudge), fudge that gets cooked using a candy thermometer, and also easy fudge recipes like this one that doesn’t have marshmallow creme or use a thermometer.
- Creamy Peanut Butter
- Butter
- Vanilla Extract
- Powdered Sugar
Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe
Is there anything better than a piece of fudge? I think not!
This 4 ingredient peanut butter fudge uses only smooth peanut butter, butter (sticks), vanilla extract and powdered sugar.
All you need is a saucepan to melt the butter and peanut butter together on the stovetop. Then, a quick stir to incorporate the confectioners sugar and vanilla, while heating over low heat.
Pour it in to a parchment paper-lined baking dish, and boom, you have easy peanut butter fudge. Be sure to let the fudge cool completely before removing from the pan to cut into bite0sized pieces. I won’t judge what size your “bite” is.
