Creamy Cauliflower Salad

I love a layered salad with a homemade dressing. Traditionally, it’s a seven layer salad, but I like this version with just romaine, bacon, cauliflower and radish even more.

What I like most is the fact that it makes a smaller portion than that of a large seven layer salad. This makes it more manageable for a weeknight as most layered salads have a mayonnaise dressing that will get soggy after the first day.

The flavors of the simple ingredients are the perfect match for this homemade creamy dressing.

Crunchy Cauliflower Salad

I love the crunchy texture of this layered salad. The cauliflower, romaine lettuce and radishes all have a natural crunch to them that makes this salad extra special.

The original recipe from a cook book called Taste of Indian Creek hit a homerun with creating this bacon cauliflower toss.

I’d serve it along side a grilled steak and baked potatoes for the perfect meal.

What can I use raw cauliflower for?

Raw cauliflower tastes great with a creamy dip or served on a crudité platter, but there’s also other ways to use it. Add it to any salad, particularly with a layered salad with a creamy dressing.
