What to Expect
This week at These Old Cookbooks, we are serving up delicious meals that Grandma would approve.  All of these recipes have simple ingredients (see our grocery list at the bottom of this post) and are easy to follow.
Our meal plan is focused around Low Carb Recipes this week; even Grandma reigned in the eating every now and then. But there’s one thing we know for sure, just because these recipes are low carb doesn’t mean they aren’t delicious!
We’ve got some time-saving strategies this week! We are using canned chicken breast for a simple lemon chicken salad recipe that will come together in a snap. Being on a keto diet doesn’t mean you can’t eat good food.
We’ve also chosen recipes that have the same ingredients such as riced cauliflower which is the star of three recipes this week. It’s a low carb star! You’ll also want to stock up on low sodium chicken broth and heavy whipping cream, both of which appear multiple times this week.
See the grocery list below (we didn’t include the ingredients from recipes NOT on our site). You most likely won’t need everything on that list. We are betting that you have many of these ingredients already in your refrigerator or pantry!

Sunday: Low Carb Baked Spaghetti Squash Casserole
Monday: Low Carb Beef Fried Cauliflower Rice
Tuesday: Low Carb Chorizo Taco Soup
Wednesday: 5 Minute Low Carb Lemon Chicken Salad
Serve in lettuce wraps.

Thursday: Low Carb Tuscan Soup with Cauliflower Rice
Friday: Low Carb Salmon Patties, Low Carb Sesame Broccoli
