Frozen Spinach Dip uses mayonnaise, green onion, salt, pepper and parsley to create a delicious dip. Serve this with your favorite vegetables, bread or crackers and everyone will be digging in.
This Creamy Spinach Dip has been around for a hot minute. It comes from a 1979 Teachers’ Culinary Treasures Cook Book. My Mom’s good friend Susan gave me the cookbook, and it’s full of oldies yet goodies.
Appetizers like this frozen spinach dip are just as relevant and delicious now as they were in the ‘70s.
How do you make spinach dip from scratch?
Our recipe is a spinach dip without sour cream. Instead, use mayonnaise for a creamy, spinach dip.
Blend a box of frozen spinach (9 – 10 ounces) with 2 cups mayonnaise. Add minced green onion, dried parsley, salt and pepper to taste. To make it easy, use a blender to mix all the ingredients and pulverize the frozen spinach.
