We love taking the flavor of our favorite meals and turning them into other dishes our family is sure to enjoy. Barbara found this BLT dip in a recipe book of a friend and knew she had to make it.

Easy BLT Dip

This Easy BLT Dip can be pulled together in no time, and the hardest part is cooking the bacon. We promise!

With just four simple ingredients, this sour cream and mayonnaise-based dip will wow anyone who dips a carrot or celery stalk in it. Want to add a bit more flavor? Add a teaspoon of onion powder and/or a teaspoon of seasoned salt.

  • Fresh tomatoes

How to Make BLT Dip

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Cook bacon, and crumble bacon into small pieces. Drain excess grease onto paper towels.
  2. Reserve a small amount of bacon and tomatoes for topping.
  3. Mix together the remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Top with reserved bacon and tomatoes.
  5. Serve with a vegetable tray or crackers, pita chips and pretzels.

Storage Instructions

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

  • Add ranch seasoning to the dip, or other spices and herbs such as onion powder and garlic powder.
  • Stir in a splash of seasoning salt.
  • Worcestershire sauce is a great addition.
  • Dip in endive lettuce for the L in the BLT.
  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Garnish with green onions.

Can you make blt dip the night before?

Yes, this dip tastes even better when prepared the night before; however, I recommend waiting to add the extra bacon and tomatoes on top for right before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon fried and crumbled
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3-4 tomatoes chopped (Romas work well)

Instructions

  • Set aside small amount of bacon and tomatoes to top dip, if desired.
  • Mix together bacon, sour cream, mayonnaise and tomatoes. Top with reserved bacon and tomatoes.
