Looking for a new cocktail? Look no farther than a Bay Breeze. It’s an easy cocktail consisting of three ingredients, cranberry juice, pineapple juice and vodka. This drink will take you to the right to the beach.
We love Bay Breezes! Think of it as the tropical version of the traditional Cape Codder. It’s no secret that Barbara’s favorite drink is a Cape Codder. She likes it them simple with just Cranberry and Vodka but most often she squeezes lime juice into them or adds Limeade for a bigger lit of lime. She has even been know to add sliced jalapenos for a spicy kick!
Bay Breeze Cocktail
Barbara was in charge of bringing a cocktail to a fun night with friends recently. That day, she had found this cool vintage lemonade pitcher with a seal-proof lid. She decided to try a new cocktail. It just so happened that Aldi (Barbara’s favorite store, hands down) had had pineapple juice that week, and she had grabbed a carton.
Next thing you know, Barbara was whipping up a large batch of Bay Breeze for friends.
Notes about the Bay Breeze Recipe
Just like any recipe, you can tweak this recipe to your liking. Love pineapple? Add more pineapple juice. Love spice? Add slices of jalapeno. You are in charge.
Float pineapple chunks or slices in the pitcher for extra cool factor.
You could omit the pineapple chunks, and store this in the refrigerator for several days if you plan to drink on this but don’t have a fun night planned with a crowd.
Use your favorite vodka! We prefer Titos.
It you want to make this less calories, you could use the Diet Cranberry Cocktail.
Serve over ice!
