Hot Cocoa Mix without Cocoa Powder Recipe

If you’ve ever wondered how to make hot chocolate without cocoa powder, then keep reading. This bulk hot chocolate recipe is for you.

Instead of cocoa powder, our recipe uses Nestle Nesquik. I am particularly fond of Nesquik because my Mom always bought it for us as kids to make chocolate milk. When Sam’s Club became popular, we loved the huge canister of Nesquik Mom would bring home!

The other cool thing about this from scratch hot chocolate mix is that it uses powdered milk. This eliminates the need to add milk when preparing. Instead, add 1/3 cup of the dry cocoa mix to boiling water and you have a perfect mug of cocoa.
