Instead of apologizing, I’m going to say you’re welcome. You’re welcome because this recipe is as easy as dumping all the ingredients in the slow cooker and walking away. Dump and go. Stir, serve and enjoy. And it is enjoyable. I can’t get enough.
I served this along side Oven Pulled Pork and Pennsylvania Dutch Green Beans for my son’s birthday party. It’s one of those recipes that you’ll become known for, and that you’ll be expected to bring to every holiday for the rest of time. But honestly, the joke’s on them, because IT’S SO EASY!

What makes creamed corn so creamy?
Yes, it has cream cheese that melts with the cheddar cheese.
But, it also has heavy whipping cream. Slow Cooker Creamed Corn with heavy cream and cream cheese? Yep, that’s how I roll.
The heavy whipping cream thins out the sauce in a decadent, hearty, stick to your ribs way.
These are the types of dishes I love to make for the holidays. I’m not apologizing for putting butter, heavy cream and cream cheese in my slow cooker creamed corn. That’s why it’s the best over creamed corn recipe.
Heck, next time, I might even stir in crispy, bacon bits.
