What to eat with cheesy scalloped potatoes?

Cheesy scalloped potatoes are a rich and decadent side dish, so they pair well with lighter main courses such as grilled or roasted chicken, steamed vegetables, or a fresh green salad. The combination of the creamy, cheesy potatoes with a lighter main course creates a well-balanced meal. What is the difference between scalloped potatoes and cheesy potatoes?

Scalloped potatoes are traditionally made with thinly sliced potatoes, layered in a casserole dish, and baked with a creamy white sauce. Cheesy potatoes, on the other hand, often use a cheese sauce, like Velveeta and/or shredded cheese, and sometimes have additional ingredients like bacon or sour cream. While both are delicious potato dishes, the main difference lies in the use of cheese and the method of preparation.
