How to Make Chocolate Bark

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  3. Upwrap chocolate bars and arrange on the prepared sheet pan so that they are touching. I like to put dark chocolate in one area and milk chocolate in another.
  4. Sprinkle with white chocolate chips.
  5. Place in the oven for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, and spread melted chocolate with a knife or icing spreader. It’s ok if the bars are melted but the chips are not melted. This will leave chunks of chocolate in the bark.
  7. Decorate the top as desired with optional ingredients. Press the toppings gently into the melted chocolate.
  8. Refrigerate for an hour or until the chocolate bark has hardened.
  9. Break into pieces. If it’s too hard to break, gently use a rolling pin or meat mallet to help break it.

Storage Instructions

Place into smaller, decorative bags or an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
