You just need seven simple ingredients to make this stove top meal that the entire family will enjoy. Serve this creamy sauce containing cubed ham and frozen peas over pasta. It’s ingenious and delicious!

While this dish is perfectly creamy, there’s actually no cream in ham and pea pasta. Instead, you combine cream of celery soup and milk to make a thick, creamy sauce.

  • Diced Ham (leftover ham works great)
  • Butter or Margarine
  • Onions, diced
  • Cream of Celery Soup
  • Milk
  • Frozen Peas
  • Cooked Pasta or Noodles (your favorite variety)
While this dish is perfectly creamy, there's actually no cream in ham and pea pasta. Instead, you combine cream of celery soup and milk to make a thick, creamy sauce.

How to Make Creamy Ham and Peas over Noodles

  • Melt butter in a large skillet; add diced ham and diced onions. Cook over medium heat for a few minutes of until the onions are softened.
  • Toss in frozen peas, and simmer for a couple more minutes.
  • Pour in milk and cream of celery soup, stirring until thickened and warm.
  • Serve over your favorite al dente cooked pasta or noodles (or even toast). My kids love it over cooked elbow macaroni. Season with salt and black pepper if desired.
