- 13.25 ounces Devils Food Cake Mix Or use whatever size cake mix you have on hand
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
- 16 ounces Vanilla icing Or use our homemade cream cheese frosting (link in notes)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix chocolate cake mix, vegetable oil and eggs together until smooth and thick using a hand mixer or stand mixer.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet. A small cookie scoop works great. If desired, roll the dough in your hands to get an even, round cookie dough ball.
Gently press down with your fingers so they spread out more during baking.
Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven. Let cool on the pan for a few minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
Spread a dollop of homemade cream cheese icing or store-bought vanilla icing in between two cookies.
