Ingredients

  • 64 ounces kidney beans, rinsed and drained canned
  • 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained 14½ ounces can
  • 14 ounces smoked turkey sausage, sliced 1 package
  • 3 celery ribs chopped
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 medium green pepper chopped
  • 1 small sweet red pepper chopped
  • 6 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • 6 cups Hot cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  • In a 4– or 5-quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients except rice.

Notes
