  • 8 ears Fresh Sweet Corn ears of corn/ corn on the cob
  • 1/3 cup Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Sugar

  • Using a sharp knife or an electric knife, cut the corn kernels off the cob into a large bowl. Scalp only the top portion of the kernels first; then, scrape the rest of the kernel and juices off the cob with the back of your knife. (If using an electric knife, this will only be one step.)
