Jell-O Layer
- 6 ounces grape Jell-O
- 20 ounces crushed pineapple (do not drain)
- 21 ounces blueberry pie filling
Topping
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Dissolve grape jello mix in hot water.
Stir in undrained pineapple and blueberry pie filling. (See notes about nuts)
Pour into a 13 x 9 inch baking pan or a large glass bowl.
Refrigerate for several hours until the gelatin sets up.
For topping, cream softened cream cheese and sour cream.
Add sugar and vanilla and beat until stiff peaks form.
Spread over jello layer. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Refrigerate to let the topping set up.
