- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 10.5 ounces condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup onion finely chopped
- Black Pepper (generous dash)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 13 x 9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Combine 1/4 cup golden mushroom soup, ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, onion and black pepper.
Shape into 6 oval patties, and place in prepared dish.
Bake for 30 minutes. If needed, spoon off excess fat.
Combine the remaining soup and water. Pour over the patties.
Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Serve with mashed potatoes or buttered noodles.

- I prefer Italian bread crumbs because I think it gives more flavor; however, regular or panko bread crumbs work too.
