  • 5-8 brats
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 can or bottle your favorite beer
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon paprika
  1. In a saucepan, boil brats in water for 5 minutes to remove fat.

  2. Drain brats; place in slow cooker insert.

  3. Mix all remaining ingredients, and pour over the brats.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours. 

  5. Serve in buns, smothered in the cooking sauce if desired.

Recipe Notes

Be sure to cook the brats to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.
