Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 ounce pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
  • 12 ounce pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 eggs beaten

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease 12-cup Bundt pan and "flour" with cocoa powder.

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mixing by hand until well-blended.

Notes

  • Use instant chocolate pudding mix, not the cook type.
  • German chocolate, dark chocolate or any other flavored cake mix could be substituted for a fun mix-up.
  • Grease all sides of the Bundt pan generously with shortening even the inner circle. This ensures the cake comes out without sticking. 
  • Use cocoa instead of flour to coat your greased pan to avoid leftover flour on your baked cake.
  • Powdered sugar hides any imperfections on the cake. 
  • Frost with a chocolate ganache or frosting, if desired.
