- 4 1/2 ounce pkg. instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
- 12 ounce pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 2 eggs beaten
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease 12-cup Bundt pan and "flour" with cocoa powder.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, mixing by hand until well-blended.
Pour into prepared Bundt pan.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes in pan. Loosen inner and outer edges with a knife. Invert onto a cooling rack.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with your favorite frosting.
- Use instant chocolate pudding mix, not the cook type.
- German chocolate, dark chocolate or any other flavored cake mix could be substituted for a fun mix-up.
- Grease all sides of the Bundt pan generously with shortening even the inner circle. This ensures the cake comes out without sticking.
- Use cocoa instead of flour to coat your greased pan to avoid leftover flour on your baked cake.
- Powdered sugar hides any imperfections on the cake.
- Frost with a chocolate ganache or frosting, if desired.
