Ingredients

  • 87 ounces French Style Green Beans, drained 6, 14.5 ounce cans
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups ham, cubed
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 - 2 cups new potatoes
  • 32 ounces chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter, cubed

  • Add all ingredients to the crock pot insert, and mix.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a scoop or two of Better than Chicken Bouillon and/or bacon grease.
  • Substitute fried bacon bits for ham, if desired.
  • Can't find new potatoes, cut regular potatoes into bite-sized pieces instead. 
  • Substitute margarine for butter, if needed.  
  • Jarred, minced garlic works great.  I put in approximately a tablespoon total.
