Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup radishes
  • 1/4 cup green onion tops (scallions)
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Notes

    • Be sure to start with softened cream cheese. I let mine sit at room temperature for a minimum of one hour to soften. If you skip this step, expect lumpy cream cheese.
    • A food processor or a Ninja works great to grind up the radishes.
    • Use the green parts only of the scallion. Scallions are also called green onions.
    • Let the cream cheese radish dip chill in the fridge for several hours to let the flavors meld together.
    • If desired, roll the radish dip into a ball to make a cheeseball.
    • This is a great recipe to make ahead.
    • Do not let the cheeseball sit out at room temperature for more than 4 hours. After 4 hours at room temperature, the food enters the danger zone for foodborne illness.
