Tuna Melt Turnovers are a new spin on the classic tuna melt. Canned biscuit dough is filled with a mixture of tuna, mayonnaise, celery and cheese--all the ingredients of that tried and true tuna melt recipe. The result is an easy, portable meal on the go.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In a bowl, mix drained tuna, mayonnaise, celery, and cheese.
Flatten each biscuit.
Put 1 Tablespoon of tuna mixture in the center of each of 4 flattened biscuits.
Take the remaining 4 flattened biscuits and arrange over top.
Take a fork and seal all around the edges of the biscuits.
For a glossy appearance, brush the top with milk or cream.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cooked through.
