Ingredients
  • 6 ounces chipped beef
  • 5 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 Tablespoons flour
  • 2 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 ounces canned mushrooms, drained
  • 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons dried parsley
Instructions
  1. Cut dried beef into small pieces.

  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add onion and cook until softened.

  3. Add flour and stir; cook for 30 seconds.

  4. Add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.

  5. Add sour cream, beef, mushrooms, cheese and parsely. Heat until warmed through.

  6. Serve over toast or cooked pasta.
