Grandma's Easy Apple Crisp recipe is a traditional, old fashioned apple crisp without oats. The melt-in-your-mouth topping screams cinnamon and butter and will have your family begging for more.

Ingredients
  • 5-6 cups peeled and sliced apples
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 unbeaten egg
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. 

  2. Arrange peeled and sliced apples in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

  3. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and egg, and mix until blended.

  4. Sprinkle mixture over apples; pour melted butter over top.

  5. Bake until the fruit is fork tender, approximately 30-40 minutes.
